This site is built on Drupal (content management system). It does not use any cookies for visitors to the frontend of the site. It does not use any tracking technologies or social-meda plug-ins.
If you send me contact information by email, telephone or post, I will use this for the sole purpose of communicating with you. I won't pass this information on to anyone else without your consent and will delete it if you ask me to.
The hosting provider of this site creates and stores Apache log files from visits to this site. I would only ever access this information if there is a technical problem and I wanted to check what went wrong. Unfortunately the hosting provider does not allow me to disable logging, so I'm including the text below for more information.
Server log files
When you access this website, connection data is stored. This means that each time a file is retrieved or attempted on this server, the following data about this process is stored by default in a log file (server log file) for purposes of system security and statistics:
- * IP address
- * Time and method of access
- * URL accessed
- * Version of the HTTP protocol used
- * Result value of access
- * Data volume of access in kB
- * Web page that was accessed before this page was accessed (referrer)
- * Information about the browser and operating system used
All this data is not assigned to any specific person. Personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected.
Analysis of log files
The website uses the web analysis software Awstats and Webalizer for statistical evaluation of user access to the website. These create surveys of the number of hits, file/page requests, visits, etc., based on the server log file data explained above.
These evaluations are not linked to other data sources, in particular to personal data. The information generated is stored with the provider Hostgator. No information or data will be passed on to third parties.
